There are those amongst us who think they have certain entitlements in the broadcasting business. They are almost always wrong about that. These are people who have gone to some sort of "broadcasting school" and have been told by their dear old Aunt they have a voice for radio. You know, real experts.
Then there are those who actually work in a related field of broadcasting who like to tell those of us who do work in the business how to do our jobs. These evil people are known as consultants. They are clueless, witless and a scourge to the business. Yet, they get enormous amounts of money from broadcasting broadcasting corporations to tell them what they want to hear to justify their expense.
The bottom line is this, everyone is an expert. Yet no one really is. Only the audience knows the real answer.
