Mick Kolassa Part 1

Mick Kolassa returns to the studio with a new album, Wasted Youth. In this episode, you will hear some of the stories surrounding the production of this work. Plus, you will hear him perform some of those songs in studio with his band. A truly magical moment was captured here. 

Also, Ric tells the story of a shooting in Memphis. Yes, it happens a lot here however, in this case the motive of the shooting is beyond stupid. Just like the guy who apparently pulled the trigger. Plus, Ric let's the cat out of the bag (sort of) regarding a new season of Drinking with Dead People.

"Free Range Blues" is a term you may not be familiar with but by the time this episode is over, you will understand exactly what it means. Mick has been on this show several times however, this time out, he brought the band. It's a large time.

Also, there is a local radio station that (for some stupid reason) thought it would be a great idea to switch their format to 24 Christmas music on Halloween. Seriously, WTF?

Willfully Ignorant

There seems to be quite a bit of willful ignorance going around. A friend of mine brought that to my attention while talking about the state of the society these days. He said he was backing away from using the word "idiot" because it wasn't quite accurate. Instead, the term "willful ignorance" is being used and it makes perfect sense.

Also, our old friend Mick Kolassa brought forth a new collection of songs and we'll hear a couple of them on this episode.
