It Is Radio, Damnit & The Daddy Mack Blues Band

I suppose you could call it a pet peeve. The Lord knows we all have them. I may have more than others, at least it would appear as such. However, I'm a little over calling this a podcast. It's a sad term. About as sad as internet radio.

It's radio, damnit.

Plus, Jeff and I sat down with The Daddy Mack Blues band for a great time. Lots of laughs, a great conversation and some fantastic tunes.

From The Hill Country with Trenton Ayers & Cedric Burnside

In case you missed this remarkable conversation and performance from these two, here it is. We didn't edit much out of this one simply because there is just too much good stuff here to listen. In here, you are going to hear some exclusive music that has never been released to the public and is still not available (as of this publication).

This was a great time and Jeff Janovetz and I had more fun then the law should allow.

The Lost Hour and BJ Banks with Paul Crum

Being a songwriter is an art in and of itself. I recently sat down with BJ Banks of the Bartlett Songwriter's Alliance who brought along musician Paul Crum. We talked a bit about the art of writing a song as well as the performance aspects of such matters. We had a pretty big time with a lot of laughs.

Road Trippin' and an Evening with Booker Brown

I was recently in Texas (long story) and had a bit of time to myself on the way back. It's an 11 hour drive. During all this time, I started noticing a couple of interesting patterns out there. Apparently, billboard advertising space must be had on the cheap since most of the one's I saw were outdated or had "Advertise Here" on them.

There is something else rather interesting out there. A lot of porn shops in the middle of nowhere.

Plus, Jeff and I spent some time with one of the greats. Booker Brown. He had with him Albert Sutherland on guitar. Then, all of a sudden, Willie Hall showed up to play some drums.
