Keep In Touch

In reference to episode 304, Ric talked about an idea he had for a holiday card. It came true. Actual, physical cards were made as a gift to Ric. In this episode he talks about those very cards plus, he spends some time talking about the interconnectivity of the internet.

Specifically, all the information you give the social media sites as well as other sites is being used against you, in some sort of fashion for the basis of one thing. Money. Also, Ric talks about a couple of things that may be an unpopular thought. At least one of the two things he mentions is accurate. It'll be you to figure it out.

NEXT WEEK: Familiar Ground

J.J. Abrams Is A Monster

I am about to make a REALLY unpopular remark. Disagree all you want. Personally, I think the J.J. Abrams makes shitty films.

Oh I know, there are those of you who will come to his defense. That's fine. It's strictly my opinion. I'm sure there are some films he's made that are fine. I can't recall which ones, mind you. But, I'm sure he has some redeeming qualities.

So you ask, what does make a good movie? Good story and interesting characters. That's it.

Keep in mind that I am not saying these things to sway you one way or another. My only goal here is to present a different point of view.

Also in this episode, music from Solarflairs.

Lipstick on My Codpiece & Other Confessions of a Stormtrooper

Well, to be fair here, not MY codpiece. Jeff brought his old friend Andy Galloway by for a great podcast about cosplay, making props and costumes and all the appearances he makes through the 501st. Jeff and I completely geek out in this episode and cover a lot of ground with some great fun and some rather revealing stories about what it is like to strap on Star Wars Stormtrooper armor and mix with fans.
